Description

For his brand identity design, Jose wanted a logo that was truly unique for a painting company and that did not use typical icons associated with the painting industry, such as paint cans and brushes, splashes and swatches. So we came up with a logo that was stylish and simplistic, as well as professional and polished. The icon was inspired by the idea of painting in all kinds of places and spaces, given Jose's extensive experience as a painter. The icon is obviously a "C" made up a "space" with a "painted wall" on the left and the floor and ceiling to form the shape of the "C". A serif type was chosen to convey a sense of professionalism, class, and seriousness in Jose's approach to the quality of his work and the integrity of his business. The colour blue was also chosen to communicate a sense of trust and stability. All-in-all, Jose was very pleased with the design of his logo, business cards, and website!
